That journey eventually led him to Philadelphia’s iconic Wills Eye Hospital as Assistant Director of Medical Photography, capturing some of the most intricate images in the field.
Tom’s story didn’t end behind the camera. After earning a master’s degree from Cranbrook and teaching college-level photography, he spent years in commercial photography and advertising, collaborating with some of Philadelphia’s top creative professionals. Yet, he felt a growing pull toward a more hands-on pursuit—one that would allow him to apply his artistic and design sensibilities in a tangible, lasting way. Having designed his own home and studio loft and successfully rehabilitated two additional properties, real estate emerged as the natural next chapter, where art and architecture meet everyday living.
Over the last decade at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices & The Sivel Group, Tom has earned a reputation for bringing clarity, warmth, and vision to every client relationship. He has a knack for guiding buyers through big decisions with calm expertise, and he loves helping sellers showcase the unique story of their property.
