In real estate, we spend a lot of time talking about homes. Finding them. Selling them. Renovating them. Dreaming about them. But if we’re being honest, the true heart of any home has never been the walls, the kitchens, or even the curb appeal.
It’s Mom.
At The Sivel Group, we’re lucky to work alongside an incredible group of women who somehow manage to balance contracts, closings, carpools, client calls, sports schedules, school pickups, dinner plans, and everything in between — often all before lunch.
This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the amazing moms on our team: Jean Gadra, Alex Haines, Christie Jones, Holly Reynolds, Katie Mancini, Maura Regan, Stephanie Washington, Christine Downey, and Danielle Gannon.
Motherhood and real estate actually have a lot in common. Both require patience, intuition, multitasking, negotiation skills, and the ability to stay calm when everyone else is losing it. Both are rooted in relationships, trust, and creating spaces where people feel safe, supported, and cared for.
And while no two mothers do it exactly the same way, one thing is always true — the love and energy they pour into both their families and their careers leaves a lasting impact on everyone around them.
To the moms balancing business meetings with bedtime stories, showing homes in between school events, and somehow remembering where everyone’s shoes are at all times — we see you, we appreciate you, and frankly, we’re still trying to figure out how you do it all.
