This year, there is magic in the air here in Chestnut Hill. The Sivel Group teamed up with our neighbors at Matines Café to host our annual S’mores & Toys for Tots gathering—and the community showed up with hearts (and toy bags) full.
On December 3rd, Germantown Avenue glowed under twinkling lights as families, friends, and neighbors stopped by to roast marshmallows, enjoy a croissant and sip hot cocoa. They came one and all to drop off toys for children in need.
Thanks to this incredible community, we collected 75+ toys that evening alone—everything from dolls and books to games, puzzles, and sports gear. By the end of the drive, we proudly delivered eight full boxes to the Toys for Tots organization, each one packed to the brim with joy, generosity, and holiday spirit.
It was one of those nights that reminds all of us why community matters. Why showing up matters. Why a simple toy can mean the world to a child who needs a little extra holiday magic.
Partnering with Matines Café made the night extra special. Their warm drinks, and French desserts, really elevated our traditional smores evening. Two local businesses coming together to pour into the local children and community!
A Heartfelt Thank You to everyone who brought a toy, stopped by to say hello, or simply spread the word. Your generosity will brighten the season for countless children—and we’re honored to play a small part in making that happen.
